He's not really much of a pet until he's retired... he does stay at home but he has his own kennel and doesn't come in the house.

Ah, my dads friend keeps his as a pet in the house and all that, the dog is so friendly around kids and stuff, but I've seen him tackle a 200 pound man in one of those protective suits, didn't let go until given the command to.
