      oh by the way just get the chrome lug nuts from like firestone or something like that. thats where i got mine i dunno if u guys have firestone in the US tho.

      one more thing that a lot of people do is debadge the front grille so its just mesh and no chevy sign. it looks really good, maybe give it a try, you can always just put the chevy sign back on if u dont like it

      So 8000k is bright enough? I was thinking of getting 10000k single bulb.

      the "k" rating is not about brightness, its about color.

      HOW DO YOU ADJUST hid's? With high beams on? And how far should they go? Ok my HHR lights go 50' out.??

      sticking the bulbs in the oem lights "should" be adjusted just like oem, its the housings that determine beam pattern.

      but this is where the controversy starts..

      On my aveo I have the lights facing 25' from the car but when driving my HHR I can see further so i checked to see how far the light beam goes and its well over 50'. so Im going to sdjust my Aveo lights to at least 50'.

      you dont need that, just look at this:


      thats the projected "color" of the hids, most visible is between 6k and 8k 8k being more blue..
