Well I applaud you in being one of the few people in the world to have a turbo on this car. Good job, well done.
You make me laugh though. You're worried about insurance so you won't replace the steering wheel, but you'll put a turbo on the car. You do realize that if you do, (and I hope you never do) have an accident which damages any part of your engine, your insurance company is not going to cover you right? You can scream Magnusson Act til you're blue in the face, but they are still going to drag it out in court for several years where the burden will be on you to prove that your modifications didn't cause the accident.
Anyways, thank you for the information.
performance mods dont matter if he gets hit. where as if he doesnt have an airbag will.
i wanted to redo the interiors but my dealer's price was sky high.
Don't they make aftermarket steering wheels with air bags in them? I know it's pricey, but still worth looking into.
Oh and Nemasys, are you still running the stock axles or did you use the ones from the 2.0L also, and if so was any work required to make them fit?
Just received the ARP headstuds yesterday!
Now i can finally start working on the engine, i only need 1 more thing to finish putting everything back together!
