My next car

I have a 1998 vw diesel and thinking about buying a new Aveo.The vw is getting excelent MPG,but it is old,and i am thinking about a Aveo.
Would you people buy a Aveo again.No sence asking the dealer about the car,but you are the experts with your daily travel in one.

i would wait for the next gen aveo to come out next year, the 2nd gen aveos are pretty good, i would buy another aveo only if it was a manual

The MPG numbers will be probably lower than your VW diesel, but its a great littie car for the money.

+1 but the next gen aveo will do really good mpg wise, depends on how you drive, what are you getting with the VW right now, 50+?

if you use the same driving techniques these guys are using to get 40+ mpg in the aveo, you would be seeing like 65-70? with the tdi..


i love my aveo. long distance or around town it does what i need. but if your looking for a gas hypermiler compared to a tdi, well i dont think youll find anything as capable as the tdi for true world driving..

wait for new aveos they look real sharp!! but ours are good cars 2. def manuel next time, and power windows n locks. other than that no complaints~
