I would suggest a proper engine wash after valve cover gasket is replaced, this way you can spot if oil leak has been solve with gasket or if oil leak persists.

If it still misfires after the clean, then I would recommend to replace.
To clean:
Make sure engine is cold.
Remember where each cable goes!
Pull cables from base. NOT from cable.
Use dry...
If you replaced your spark plugs and wires about a month ago, a thourough clean should do.
It depends on when was the last time you repleced em, maybe upload a pic or two?
