Front Wheel Bearing. What to Buy

After a couple years of reading posts here I have a question that I couldn't find an answer for.

My moms 04 Aveo has has a loud metal on metal sound for a couple of weeks now. I pulled off the front brakes to rule them out and I found a loud screech when I turn the hub on the right side. I assume this is a wheel bearing issue so I've been researching into what to buy.

I notice that I cannot find a bearing and hub assembly as on other GM cars. I'd rather not go through the hassle of pressing out the old bearing since this is the only family car and I cannot let this be more than a one day project. Can anyone suggest a hub I should buy and a bearing. Is it as simple as assembling the bearing into the hub and bolting everything together? Do I need any other parts?

I've had great success with Rockauto in the past so if I can find all of the parts from there it would be much easier.

      Thanks!

the new bearing needs pressed into the hub no matter what.

you can go with a low mileage used spindle and reuse that bearing, or buy a spindle, replace the bearing, and swap spindles in a few hours. Its extra parts, but will keep the car off the road the least amount of time.

If you decide you want a new spindle, lmk, i have a pair here i would sell off. had @18k on them.

Sorry for the long wait. My gripe is the pain of attempting to get the old bearing out of the hub and I guess I've been spoiled working on other cars where the hub is sold as an assembly. I'll send a PM because it may be the way to go for me.
