      Removing the window crank...

      I read the other thread on door panel removal, but I'm still stuck on the window crank. Where is that clip that holds the crank in place? It's an '04, if that helps. Thanks.

      It's a little washer looking thing in between the door and the crank, there's a specific tool made to push it out but if you don't have one you *might* be able to do it with a flathead screwdriver (assuming you know how the washer is positioned)...

      I say might cause I've never seen it done before.

      Just take a piece of wire and bend it in the shape of a hook and push in on the circular piece of plastic. Then use the hook and try to grab onto the clip. But make sure you have it blocked when it comes off because it will shoot out really quick. I almost lost mine because of that.

      i lost one of mine when i went to put the chrome handles on, lucky me my dad had a box of diff size ones

      door handle remover

      pepboys sells the clip remover for 5$, I bought one and works flawlessly without drama.
