      Knob Covers and other accessories

If any members are located around the Bel Air Maryland area there is a company that would love to make products for our cars. They just need a vehicle to use as a model to make them. The website is..http://www.mrkgroup.net/store2/. I also belong to dodgeintrepid.net and this company has done this for the Intrepids with awesome results. All quality products. Just thought I would throw this out there.

      Okay, little update on this...

I just can't see sending all my parts off to get stuff made for Aveos if no one else is going to want them... They say they've had no other inquiries concerning Aveo parts, and don't see that there is a market for them to invest in tooling for one set runs. They will still make me a set, but they will charge custom prices because it would be one-off.

Anyways, anyone else who would want Aveo interior styling parts contact them too, so they know we are for real.

well, i havent done it but this what has been proven to work.

in a nutshell: u bring a pot of water to a boil and then insert shift knob into boiling water (careful, dont burn urself) and let it set in there for bout 10-15 minutes, take it out and use a glove or sumtin and twist handle off. replace with new handle and ur done.

now its my understanding that u need a special handle that will allow for the reverse function to work properly so do some checkin. Exodus (if i remember correctly) had a good explanation of it somewhere. if u search for it u should find it here-me im too lazy too look right now lol.

boil the knob, grab the knob in a vice, pull and twist on the stick...

      sounds dirty
