Looking for an Autonomous

After recent problems with forward vision and my windscreen, my son suggested I needed an Autonomous so I could sit in the other front seat where the forward vision is better.

As they are now available for Volvo, any ideas where I could get one of these for a Barina/Aveo?

I meant the post to generate a humorous reply. Personally, I would be happy to have a machine (autonomous) or a nice young lady (autonomiss) drive me to the shop once a week.

I live in pittsburgh. CMU has been developing self driving cars for years. Google, Uber, and even a few other start up companies are making the city a testing ground for the autonomous cars. I saw my first one back when I was still in high school.. i think it was a lumina minivan?


If you want a young lady to drive you around... when you are sitting at the street lights, look around a bit. I hear there are always young ladies standing around looking for work. One of them should be able to take care of you...

Thank you for the replies, however, on a practical note, there is a batch of cars arriving soon for the RAC to start a test program in our city. The RAC here in WA was one of the first organisations in Australia to establish a network of charging stations for electric cars and is taking the lead here in the roll-out of autonomous passenger vehicles. We are expecting to see the Volvo on the road here in 2021. Edit, Jan'19: We now have a free charging station in our suburb!

On the auto-no-miss idea, I am being re-assessed for aged care assistance in the new year so something may happen there, assisted shopping or a community bus, time will tell. Either way it will be buy-buy Barina!(for someone)
