      2004 Aveo "work truck"

Just ran into a guy who uses his 2004 Aveo as his every day "work truck".

He does handyman / carpentry / painting type jobs and has all the seats out except the driver's to carry his tools and supplies around from job to job.

Said his last car was a 3-cylinder Metro, and the main thing he doesn't like about the "new" car is the gearing: "This car's got tractor gearing!" he said. (Manual transmission.) Revs too high on the highway for his liking I guess.

He said he also misses the Metro's fuel economy. But didn't say if he appreciates the extra cylinder.

And, no, his Aveo did not look like this Metro "work truck"
