Bought it in 2009 to pull behind an RV. My friend and I installed a tow bar. The car sat mostly idle because I worked full time from home.
My new job has a 17 mile commute, so the Aveo is now a daily driver. The car has been trouble free, except for the brake light switch, which I replaced thanks to the forum. I'm quite happy with the car.
I routinely sustain 34-36 MPG for mixed highway driving on the commute. Careful shifting and easy on the gas pedal yield high mileage in this car.
Stock, but would like better MPG. I know I already exceed the rated mileage, but it just seems like it could be even better.
