What do you think of the new 08 Subaru Impeza WRX STI?
GARBAGE!!!! it went from lookin real aggressive standing still to what the hell did they do to it, i was a big subie fan till i saw the new impreza at the NY auto show last yr.
i like it better then the new evos...actually i really like the hatchback...i know some subaru fans really dont like the change but hey you gotta be appreciative that the didnt butcher it like the evo

Agreed on the Mazda 3 comment. It's bland. I didn't think it was possible to hate a cars styling more than the last generation WRX, however at least that one had character.
Though that's the market that's been getting into them lately. No more rally nerds, it's all racerbois now. Couldn't care less what they drive as long as it has an image, or implied lifestyle. One hand on the wheel, other on the cellphone.
The instant a car goes from rear struts to multilink, is the moment it's gone from rally to race.
I wonder if the Prodrive team will just deal with the multilink or swap it out for traditional struts when they switch to the new car in 2009.
If you find a picture of the original evolutions they look exactly like the vanilla lancer counterparts... less for hoodvents, giant foglamps, and a wing. "Rally styling" should be minor in my opinion. Flared fenders for bigger wheels/tires, a functional wing, and a bigass lightpod :P
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.
I like it, I've seen a few in person and they look much more impressive, but I like the older sedan style much more. As for the evo, I love the new ones front end, the headlights look much more aggressive, but the tail lights on the old one, along with the wing look perfect.
this one looks like bull****.....i think the 02-03 STI looked the best
