      Subaru?

Happily flipping through the newspaper at work and saw an ad for Subaru.
There was an '*' so I directed my eyes to the bottom of the page and it said '*Financing programs through GMAC on approved credit'

      SAY WHAT???

Does anyone know anything about this?

I'm not jumping the Aveo ship yet. I think that if my wife and I have another kid then the Aveo wouldn't cut it, IMO.
Besides, I'd rather spend my money on a Subaru then Honda or Toyota.

GMAC is not owned by GM anymore. Its just a bank now, financing loans and such. They are really easy going and almost guarentee a loan. Thats how I got my aveo with $4k overhead from my last car.

Already happened. GM has ownership in many companies. For instance, GM wanted to spice up the Saab lineup of wagons/suvs so they took the Subaru Forester platform and skinned it in Saab skin and you have the 2005 Saab 9-2X.

I wanted to puke when I heard this. Two makes I love, but for totally different reasons... there's no place in saab's line-up for a subaru. Give me the viggen, damnit.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.
