Scantily dressed women in Car stereo Ad's is it necessary?

Do you need scantily dressed women to sell your product in the mobile electronic world?

I personally do not think that it is necessary, but I know each is entitled to there own opinion. So let me know what you think. Also list the companies that you know of that use scantily dressed women to promote there products and companies that don't. I just wonder if the industry has really grown up in the consumers eyes.

I voted no, but at the same time is makes the ad more eye-catching when flipping through magazines and internet websites...

I think it's really for companies who have the money to afford those models, but I think the purpose is for eye candy to show off eye candy... Giving guys a reason to look at the stuff you're selling other than the stuff itself... The point is to get guys to look at your products even if they didn't want to look at it, they still can't deny their basic instincts

The place I go to who does stuff like that is:
      http://chroniccaraudio.com/

I love this store, they got tons of stuff and the best deals ever, better than the "Audio Express" fags who are too corporate and sell the same **** you find at Best Buy or Circuit City.

But specifically check out this page for eye candy: http://chroniccaraudio.com/gallery/inde ... er=/Girls/
That's just some of their models they will show, they also do more pinup types on their paper ads.
"If I parked a T-72 tank in my back yard, aimed the cannon towards Mexico, and muttered something
about protecting my village from an invasion, the police would show up and probably haul me away."
