Router Problem
I know a lot about computers, but this one has me stumped. I am trying to connect 2 psp's to my router for internet but am unable to do so. Its not a security related problem, WEP's and MAC's are not the problem, but I think it has to do with the router not assigning IP addresses. Either than or the router itself is not going to work at all, but that confuses me as my PS3 and other things connect with no issue. I have been on the phone with Verizon for hours( its there router) and no luck, and searching through countless fourms have proven useless.

Re: Router Problem
have you tried adjusting your router settings. by accessing them via your pc or a physical cable connection by entering 192.168.1.1
this will bring up all your settings.
it should ask you for a passwords and username by default its usually admin admin or something along those lines.
i would strongly advise against trying to edit router settings however if your unsure of what your doing.
because then you could be internet-less LOL..
thennn theres no way to find out anything...
sounds silly but start with basics try removing the power lead from your router and keep it off for 10seconds, as routers.. well CISCO routers havea 10 seoncd memory as do most electronics with RAM memory.
so just count to 15 or someting to b safe..
if you give me a bit more info in to what its actually doing and saying i may be able to help :)

Re: Router Problem
i figured it out last night lol, i changed it from mixed to only b, which just not make any sense, but it works fine now, i had done all of that simple stuff 100's of times :P
i thought the router was having problems with its DNS numbers but that wasnt the case, and the IP addresses are being assigned correctly which is good :D
thanks for the help anyways though

Re: Router Problem
nah i never really have problems with computers, this router issue was something silly and does not make any sense, but it works lol
i dont have a lot of problems with cars either, its just with no place to work and a heat index of 100 degrees warrents me to give up easy after the first try :P
