This afternoon I got a set of Yokohama Avid TRZ tires for my '05 Aveo. Total cost was $330 with NJ sales tax and ecology taxes. First of all they do indeed grip better on dry pavement. The ride is notably firmer (or stiffer) then the original Hankook tires the car came with. Steering also seems sharper. I will post more when I have driven in wet and snow!
