"Ice Road Truckers" Season 3: Alaska
Hey everyone, just letting you know I work for a trucking company here in Fairbanks, Alaska and recently we had a History Channel film crew with us for about 10 weeks. The company I work for Carlile Transprtation will be the fore-running stars of the new season of Ice Road Truckers closely followed by 2 of the veteran truckers Hugh and Alex from the previous 2 seasons which were filmed in Canada. The new season airs next sunday May 31st at 9pm/8C. Check it out, it's gonna be action packed...a few things you can expect that haven't been released yet will be the camera crews rig getting wrecked and a few emergency air-evac rescues on the haul-road. You can see a sneak peek and watch driver interviews at http://www.history.com/video.do?name=iceroadtruckers. And, watch for the guy pissing off the back of a Volvo front-end loader lol, that's me! lol

Re: "Ice Road Truckers" Season 3: Alaska
Well, let me put it this way I'm just an operator and I'm 20 years old and I own my own home and still have room for my collection of project cars lol. Most the money I make is in O/T, but my regualar pay right now is 23/hour. I think I'm due for another raise in like 3 months though. It's pretty good, it's just hard work...no time for a personal life. In the summer I'm working between 80 and 90 hours a week and in the winter I work about 60-65 hours a week in temps down to -60*F. I love what I do though, I'm in charge of building every load out of the Fairbanks terminal, so we go to Prudhoe Bay/Deadhorse, Valdez, Anchorage, Seattle, and Edmonton, AB. My company's the best at what we do and we're the largest outfit in Alaska. we also have terminals in Minnesota, Federal Way, and Houston.
