      Dang! At least they are owning up to their mistakes and fixing them. I'm glad that all of these recalls haven't/aren't affecting our cars.

      Call me crazy, but it's too bad new cars don't even have the option to DELETE the air bags, and other "safety" faults, err, I mean features. Less to break, and less to drain the wallet. Might lead to less recalls as well. The whole 'safety obsession' is what steers me away from any new car, no matter how fancy. Too many delicate components built to fail, as dictated by SAE, often times before the warranty runs out. Seems like corporate 'planned obsolescence' is biting them in the back side as of late.
