That's amazing. So, essentially there are 4 new cars with the price before delivery under $10k in Canada.
But one of the problems with these $10k cars is availability. One person I know says that GM only has 30 $10k Sparks on dealer lots for all of Ontario. So if you want one, you probably have to order it and wait, meanwhile they will gladly upsell you to the next higher trim for the today-only-special-price of...

Heya have you guys seen the 2015 Ford Figo 1.5L TDCi, a bit off topic but not by far, probably would be too expensive for a turbo - saw some videos on it, if only it were available here.

Looks like it's related to the Fiesta. Now the Fiesta ST looks fun! There's your turbo.

I'm seeing the new Spark all over the place -- much more than the previous version.
It's selling well in both the States & Canada, which is amazing considering gas prices are so low right now.

For my fellow Canadians...
I'm always shopping for cars in my head... new and used. So I just came across the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage. The base model ES with 5 speed manual is priced at $9998 + freight/fees = $11,478. BUT you can also get 0% for 84 months, AND you get a winter tire package (tires/wheels/tpms). I'm sure the dealerships will all want to charge a documentation fee of some sort, but that's around $160 a month after taxes, out the door, for a new car. The Mirage isn't going to be confused with a new Mercedes, but if you were looking for basic transportation, can handle a few warm days without a/c, and actually know how to drive a stick, that's not bad.

And for the record, I bought a Fiesta ST in June, and it's pretty awesome.

Fiesta ST = fun. Did you keep your Aveo for winter use?

I've driven the "revised" for 2017 Mirage, and it's better than the 2014/2015 versions which were criticized for having oddly numb steering & excessive body roll. They updated steering, suspension and they're a bit quieter as well (revised engine mounts). The 3-cyl engine has slightly more power, up 4hp, but it's still one of the slowest new cars on sale. That doesn't matter to me - it's still capable of outstanding fuel economy.
