We're probably going to start building some but would like to see what kind of intrest there is. We might do a group buy to kick it off with a discounted price.
Cheers!,

Kinkyllama - Im SOOO interested. Im coming from a very active Acura Legend community and the lack interest here in anything other then bodykits and other assorted riceyness is killing me. Im willing to even throw down a little Deposit/R&D money to show you Im serious. PM ME with your projections and whats up on a Aveo Specific Strut bar. Thanks
what size and solid or hollow?
Sounds great. Keep an eye out here and I'll post as there are updates. At this point I have no details...just gather intrest and figure out what it'll take on my side.Quote:

It's not really my thing, it was fabricator X, a friend of mine locally but I'm not sure if he wants to deal with it anymore. They were $130 shipped and I know a few months ago he still had a couple built.

I'm interested in Swaybars, but price is important and I know you won't sell very many quick so it's not like you can have a crapton built to get the price right.
Please try though as I'm interested. Especially in a rear bar.
As for size, 19mm is not "That" much stiffer than the 18mm which is stock on the 06+ or the 17mm that's on the 04 and 05. If you do the math, going from a 17mm to 18mm is about 33% stiffer. Think along the lines of a 20 or 21 with 2 mounting holes. so it can be adjusted.
We are talking about the rear sway bar that connects underneath strut to strut? If so, I would be interested depending on price!
count me in for either one, id like a front and rear bar 8)
It would be a set, possibly only a set. They would also be adjustable.
Here's an example of the Lacetti bars:
