Help removing Stock 09 Aveo LT Stereo

Does anyone on here have an experience with removing the U plate plastic around the rim of the 2009 Chevy Aveo stereo? Got a new deck and don't want to forcefully or blindly remove it. Any help would be great! any pictures would be even better. Thank you guys

it pushes straight in with metal clips.

you need a soft but sturdy piece to pry it out, i used a body filler spreader and a putty knife.
