the consensus is right around 200-230 to the wheels and I believe that was a HP number. meaning if 'existence' from DT was running 230whp and 240flbs max then with the shorter stroke 1.6 you could end up with something like 250whp and 240flbs max.

basically it's the torque that tears up the tranny

hmmmm i wonder if i should look into doing this. im planning on pushing about 250 to the wheels....hmmm
