Re: UR front bar and others
Nice write up, thanks!
I take it you installed all the bars at once? No idea how they affect things individually eh?

no problem :D
Well i installed the rear strut bar first. i noticed a more stable, less shaky freeway drive.
Then the front strut bar went in. And there was a big improvement in the overall driving experience. A lot more solid in the turning department.
The rear sway bar and 4 pt bar went in at the same time and the whole package really cleaned up a lot of the roll the aveo gets. I was able to do my first autocross after the whole package was installed and i felt great in the tight turns and slaloms. the car was very predictable :D
Re: UR front bar and others
Would this bars be worth it on my car, keep in mind I'm only driving my car like for everyday use?

for everyday use i feel its a great improvement. my daily commute is nice and smooth and overall handling and stability of this little car has greatly improved. the constant sway i used to get on the highway/freeway from the high winds has dramatically decreased. (i think the springs also helped with that) :D
Re: UR front bar and others
man, you guys... am I glad I found this forum. This will make it so much easier when I actually get them. I think knowing how to install something helps make the decision. :D

Re: UR front bar and others
GREAT write but my question is if it will fit my '07 sedan. Help? i'm very interested  .
Re: UR front bar and others
they should all fit except for the rear bar? They may look different but they share the same chasis
Re: UR front bar and others
=D> nice write up!! u tha man Jam
Re: UR front bar and others
do you know what size tube (I.D and O.D.) the bars are. due to my limited budget i wanted to make my own. which looking at the prices i could roughly save a couple hundred dollars. i have a metal supply 10 mins from my house, and the hardware store where i work has an old CNC machine if i need it. o yea and i can weld pretty good too.
Re: UR front bar and others
haha  thanks oscar.
i'm not sure on the dimensions but i can get those for you the next chance i have some free time :D
props for being able to make your own for sure
Re: UR front bar and others
^ make a strut bar and ill buy
Re: UR front bar and others
once i get all the metal tomorrow and all the measurements ill see how everything goes. Im going to do the upper rear first, then the engine bay one next, if everything works out ill try for the bottom front one.
Re: UR front bar and others
If you making them make the front bar tie the two front control arm bolts together. Easiest of the three to make, most improvement.
