Thanks, I figured that was how you got the radio out but it was helpful to know for sure so I didn't screw anything up. My AM/FM was screwing up when I turned on the headlights so I just purchased the older AM/FM CD/MP3 from ebay for $40. figured this would be good till I getthe money for my Alpine..

good to know how to remove it, thanks! I also needed to know how to remove the plastic pieces around it and seeing it done with a screwdriver

Just be careful, it's easy to leave marks on the plastic.
