How do i get more power
I am a new owner of a 2009, Pontiac G3 (Aveo in disguise) same 1.6l motor just different front end and love the gas mileage, but was wondering if anyone out there had some ideas or input on how to get a little more power, noticed doing searches for Pontiac G3, since it was only made a year or so, alot of accessories are hard to find. Interested in information on maybe a cold air intake or exhaust, something that may boost the HP a little. Please let me know. Thanks.

just switching out the muffler and adding a cold air intake made a huge difference in the feel of mine..
ding the whole exhaust would potentially do more, as long as it was done right.
better tires, and lighter rims helped a lot as well.

Thanks
Thanks for the input, was just wondering, if it was worth it, just looking for cost effective ways, after posting saw that someone had already done a how to on a cold air intake install.

lighter rims will def make it feel more peppy, on my other car i had some really nice 14lb 17" rims. felt so nimble....just avoid potholes!
after that....boost! intake/exhaust will cost you...$$$/whp a terrible investment. On my Focus the best mod ever done was the supercharger, i've even gone to stock exhaust. Nothing is more fun than a stock looking/sounding car with over 240whp.

what about a stock looking sounding car with 400 hp?

I'll ad that it shouldn't come that way from the factory...but yeah i'll take 400hp... in an aveo no doubt... the only problem would be traction.... :P
