      A/C Provision?

      Hello,

I'm going to look at an '11 Aveo5 LS tomorrow, is there an easy way to tell if it as the factory A/C provision installed?

      Thanks,
      Darren

Very easy. Open the glovebox. If among the many "A10, B14, etc" codes on a sticker in there, there's a C66 then you're golden.

You open the hood and look at the firewall,if the expansion valve is there you have the provision. You can also look for the code in the glove box.Check out my posts and see what you're in for.You will have to program the body computer with a tech 2 tool. The ECM in my car will not recognize the ac and the dealer has not been able to program it.GM has refused to help so now I have $500 invested in ac that doesn't work.

and if you find C60, instead of C66; Congratulations, Chevrolet Did all the Hard work for you when they built the car, and you don't have to spend a dime on parts! (unless its for mods, then by all means Spend away!)
