Anyone change evap lines on their aveo

Has anyone changed their evap lines on their aveo. If so, what did you use if you didn't use OEM lines. I broke the brittle plastic retaining clips holding the evap line to my purge valve, now I have to change them....anyone have some decent ideas...Can I use rubber lines (fuel lines) as a replacement or do I have to order replacement OEM lines.

If it is just the clips, you should be able to get them at any parts store in the self help section. Those little odd and end items they sell separately.

looks like you maybe able to purchase the line at AutoZone if you guys have one up there. But RockAuto doesnt sell the lines so not really sure unless OEM from the dealer.

Ive replaced all of mine. You can go to autozone and by the flexable line by the foot really cheap and eliminate the elbows because the vacuum line is very flexable and plyable and will fit right over where it attatches and not even have to use the elbows. This solved a check engine light issue cause i had a vacuum leak. I replaced all the lines with that stuff and it works great and is very cheap. Problem solved and check engine light out.
