How wide do you want to go with the rims?
a 205/40r16 is about as small as you can go with readily available tires.. If your not lowering, you could go up to a 45 series.
Some guys do run 17" wheels with 205/40/17 size tires too.
I had 17" rims 7,5" wide with 185/35 R17 i looks good ;)
