      quick tire question

Hey guys, Im looking into some Cobra R rims I found online and they have 255/40/17's on them. Anybody know off hand if these will fit without rubbing?

That tire is quite wide but depending on the wheel offset and if your lowered or not its a definite maybe.

P.S. if lowered i doubt theyll fit at all. at stock height and the right offset you could probably get away with it. but theyll poke.

i HAD 205/50/15s mounted on 15 x 7 with 26mm offset on the car the other day and had some serious poke. I think the cobra rims are 8's with probably close to the same offset?

All is well! lol, I got some Enkei RS7's at a steal and I bought some 205/40/17's for them, My coilovers should be done relatively soon so I'll play with the height to make sure I dont have any rub. If I have to I'll roll the fender just to get some tuck to accommodate the hellaflush. Getting spacers for the rears as well. Anyone here have wider rear track like I'm planning on?

If I'm not mistaken the Rs7's are +40 offset, and I'm looking into 10 mm spacers. I don't think it will make it that much wider, I just want the rear tires to look more flush with the fender flare.

I do to. "Honey we shrunk the Aveo!" It makes the stock one look like a bus.

Does anybody know what the difference is between the front and rear track? It has driven me nuts sinceI bought the car and I would like to even it out. Hey Rabbit, would caddy style plate work rather than spacers on the hub?
