      Mid-Brace

I'm surprised no one has caught onto this yet... Kinky loved it when he first got it, and I love mine...

I got Kinky to buy it a long time ago when there was one on Ebay listed for the Lanos. I have since found out they are just universal. This is the same price as the Ebay ones and you don't have to use paypal

yeah i'd get one, but i dont want a bar running on the floor of the back seat. it would get in the way.

One is in the works for the Aveo specifically that hopefully won't be too obtrusive to interior floorspace.

I'll be working on it this weekend a bit, along with a rear brace (behind the rear hatch seats) that should provide the support needed when you remove the rear bench.

PM FabricatorX if these are products you would be interested in getting.

You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

It's really not intrusive at all... it's 1" tubing that hugs the floor right behind the driver/passenger seat.

On mine, I used self-tapping sheetmetal screws originally, now it's pop riveted in using riv-nuts

Take a pic and post it of the interior brace. As for the behind the seat brace if you could make it so it could be removed without using any tools, that would be very tempting.

When I first read this, I was thinking of a mid brace under the car similar to what I have made for myself.

does it fit perfectly? i find it hard to believe this is a universal piece since all cars are not the same width

it could be on a sleeve that slides and locks in the middle. so that way it can be adjusted as needed. but ive never seen it so i honestly dont know, its just a thought.

The overall suspension and handling will increase by 15%.
