so everything went rather easily, the coilover spindles need to be grinded a bit, and the strut tower bar requires a bracket to be moved, the airbags were a cinch, there was already holes in the cap at the top of the springs we just opened them up a bit and you can see the several inches of exposed hose (jacketed) in the wheel well in the part 2 series of photos. the air lines are routed through the body and then curl to where the rear speakers are on dongles so they can reach outside the hatch. they actually support each coil of the spring so you can jack the spring rate up quite easily, i run them deflated for now at about 5psi. the car handles very well it is very impressive how well it corners and brakes on stock steelies, and winter 185/60r14's
the alignment was out by 1.25 degrees, it felt toed out, now its just done and ready for rubber. what a fun car!
-the picture of the front was with the coilovers set as they were shipped, we raised the passenger side 1.000 inches and the drivers side 1.125 inches for a more realistic driver, it seems no difference in handling which is, as i said, very impressive for a cold hatch
this car runs very smooth and better than new im not kidding here its got 100 thousand miles on it
