It looks like the kyb will have front strut for us this year, correct me if I'm wrong.

yeah it looks like they will have the parts and replacement struts, but not performance ones...we really need some aftermarket struts

but i dont see any that will fit a aveo
but what should i look for then?
anyone have an update on a vendor to purchase these from? i contacted tirerack, and they said they will be adding it to their catalog shortly..... they are trying to get a quote for me. Just a few minutes ago I asked gravanatuning, they didn't seem very helpful, quoting that the part number is invalid, meaning they released the part number before they started manufacturing, or they released the part and then stopped production on it altogether.
got the following response from tirerack regarding the front KYB struts:
"The KYB parts that you inquired about are apparently in development
stage still.
I just received the following from my fitment department "...still R&D
stage of development and pricing has not yet been established."
They suggest waiting for a month or two and calling back."
Just in case you guys are not aware yet, KYB 333417 and KYB 333418 are now available for purchase. Thought I should share that with you guys.

The cheapest one I found was for $75.97 each @ AJUSA.com. Just type in the part numbers, 333417 and 333418. FREE shipping and if you live outside California, you don't have to pay tax. As far as I know, they only fit 2004- 2006 Aveo.
Any performance struts out yet for a 2006?
Going to replace mine at 60,000, but going with KYB for now.
KYB works well... You could go with rabbit's coil overs sometime this summer..

thats not too bad, a little over a year ago, i got the front and rear KYBs for my 04 aveo from just-suspension through ebay, i paid $200 total with shipping.
a corvette is a performance car, the aveo, which i have one, is not!
Ken block's ford fiesta is not a performace car but it is? Any car can be made into a performace car with the right money.
