What would it be like having coil-overs only on the rear suspension and not the front?

It would probably cause handling instability as the coil-over spring will have a different spring rate (correct me if that is wrong).

I currently have that setup and have no issues. It actually helps with the roll a bit. You just have to use some TLC when driving, because the rear will be a good amount stiffer than the front. But in my 2005 LS I didn't really notice a steering issue.
it will probably change your handling characteristics, too much oversteer? but it should not make it unsafe to drive really..
