      Exclamation Brake Trouble

Hello, I'm looking for assistance in discovering what went wrong and how to fix it.

Last monday I fixed my drum brakes, some mechanic had forgot to put the pin lock in correctly and it would not stop with the screeching sound. I had to take the shoes off and after I replaced them and tested stepping on the brakes, liquid shot out from the cillinder.
Now I'm having new trouble that could or could not be related to the work I did. Now my e-brake pulls up way further than it used to and what I'm used to, and my front right disc brake makes noise when I'm braking over 20mph and gets extremely hot (I'm afraid of warping the disc or starting a fire so I've been driving under 20mph).

The sound the brakes are making is almost like when you're driving on a flat.

Could I please get some assistance from you knowledgeable folk? Thanks for stopping by the thread.

Sorry, bump for urgency, I need my car in working order and don't have money to take it to a mechanic.

That is a bad bad sign. That means there is something wrong with the slave cylinder. So I would replace it. Here is the DIY on the brakes

The cylinder from my drum brakes? Even though the problem is from my front disc brakes?
      What about the e-brake?

your words. I did not see any words stating that front brakes were an issue.

<- My bad, I did not see it the front brake later on.

OK, first off why did you pull the wheel off the front and check the brake? There is an issue going on with the brake fluid.

      1) The front wheel should be able to spin with your hand. If not there is something wrong. It could be the rotor is already damaged.

      2) Replace your brake cylinder and bleed to brakes.

      3) If you had done the rear brakes properly then the e-brake should engaged normally.

      4) Have you check your brake fluid?

I never removed my wheel, I just touched the disc after I noticed the problem. It was noticeably hotter than the other.

      1) I have not tried spinning it, I will try to do so now.
      2) Why would I need to do this? I like to know the how of things so I can better address the problem, how does this improve the problem?
      3) The rear brakes work OK (in my opinion), the pedal does not go down further than it should. The problem is only with the e-brake.
      4) How do I do that? I do not see that in my owner manual.
