Who has them? What do you think of the drop/ride quality? I'm going to be ordering them in about a week from the ebay guy since he's selling those badges with it. If you have it, what drop did you get and do u have a pic?

Go H&R's much better quality, also better ride
Where can I find those?
They dont have a warranty like Apex does..apex has a 4 year warranty.
H&R makes quality springs. As long as you're not jumping, they stand up fine.
apex springs, do not give that much drop, aveogyrl i know you want them because of the badges that come with um,lol :D butreally go with h&r we have them on our 07 sedan and they give a really nice drop and the ride is awsome. there is a guy on this forum that has the apex springs he is a red hatch, he cut a few coils off and he has a very low drop. mabye he will chime in.
i also have a question..
im putting 17"s on my car soon
and i just want a small drop..
shouldi go with H n Rs too?
i would suggest everyone to run h&r's they are great springs for the aveo. your aveo would look great with 17's and the h&r's if you are looking for a smaller drop then the apex springs are what you are looking for but remember that they are not as good as a ride as h&r's.
ive got H&R's with 17's....i think H&R's are cheaper than apex...so you get more drop for your money.
I also recommend the H&R springs. They are awesome. I Autocross my Aveo and I have my stock tires on for the winter. I like to do "The cloverleafs", do all the on and off ramps. The best I have done and on stock tires is somewhere between 80-90kph or about MPH. It sticks like glue.

Would love to see a picture of yours with the 17's.
What wheels did you go with and what is the offset?
What size tires?
My Aveo feels a little loose or tippy with the stock springs, and am hoping these springs will firm it up a bit.
Do I need a spring compressor to do the switch?
Thanks,
Jeff
 its so dirty, so i have to clean it before i take any pictures, plus i just came across a good chunk of change so i want to paint my wheels flat black and black out the headlights, but maybe ill just snap a quick one...Quote:

you dont happen to live in jersey do you?
I left the 14s on my car and i probably will forever....how will the H&R springs help the ride quality? Will I get better handling?
you will get better handling but your butt might suffer a bit :) how is the H&R ride quality?
ride quality is pretty good, i am actully noticing that the ride is getting worse though. i dont think the struts are going bad, but it does seem to be riding a bit more stiff now that i have had them on for a few thousand miles. but overall very nice. going into corners is awsome, but bumpy roads suck
haha...well I am thinking about upgrading my wheels...I might get some 15s with newer tires. I am still not sure. How costly are these things again....?
apex springs are harder to find and more expensive than h&r's
I too can vouch for H&R's, awesome ride quality/control, nice drop, very sporty feel, cheaper than apex.
Where have you guys gotten the info that the apex springs are only a 1.2" drop anyways?Quote:
