Anti-lock brakes ?

New to the forum and I searched but didn't seem to find an answer to what I was looking for. I'm trying to help out my nephew with a 2006 Aveo that did a little ditch driving. The drivers side spindle is broken. From what I've researched there are 2 spindles on the 06 Aveo, one with ABS and one with-out. I think it's a without model but is there anyway to quickly tell without crawling under the car. Thanks in advance for any answers.

Power up the car and watch the "bulb check". If an ABS warning light comes on, the car is ABS equipped. No light, no ABS.

Is there an option code that would confirm the ABS on no ABS on the option label?
