Where did they hide my Cabin Air Filter

I've got a 2010 aveo sedan and I can't find the Cabin Air Filter. My 05 has one right under/behind the glovebox. The 10 doesn't seem to have one this seems really strange as my 05 doesn't have A/C but the 10 does. I've looked everywhere on the firewall, under the dash, under the hood, What happened did the Aveo get cheaper still......

The filter is still behind the glove box. Looked it up in SI at work for you.

Probably because its a completely useless item that IMO car mfgs have added simply to add another item to replace. Seriously, WHY do you need a filter on the HVAC air blower? Its just outside air, you roll the windows down all the time, breath outside air all the time... Doesn't make sense to me.

It's more of just a dust filter really. You would be surprised when changing them the amount of junk that gets caught up in the filter. I change mine every 12 months for allergy season :P.
