Storage box on top of the dash

Is that pretty compact? The box is pretty short front to back; I'm pretty sure a standard 1911 frame wouldn't come close to fitting.

does anyone know if this can be easily modified to fit the 08 hatch before i spend the money?

"easily" is a relative term....I wouldn't try it but someone else might say "no problem."

Anything will fit with enough skill and/or money.

I got the box in on saturday and got it installed. Neither my bersa or my kimber fit in it. So I went about bought a new smaller ruger 380 with the laser grip etc just for the box lol. Works great though, You'd never think to look under the dashmat for it!

I do like my LCP. It's very comfortable on the ankle.
