      Sony wiring problems

Hey guys, this is driving me crazy. I had a crappy old Sony stereo head for about a year, and I just replaced it with a basic Xplod GT22W. The wiring harnesses appeared to be the same, but some of the pins had been moved around for the newer head unit. I cut apart my old Daewoo adapter, wired up the new harness, and the damn thing won't even turn on.

I have the eight speaker wires connected, but each of the three harnesses uses different colors for the other functions. According to the Sony manual, red is the main power supply, and yellow is the memory. Both require 12 volts, but the Daewoo harness only has the red ignition wire. The Daewoo harness has an orange wire for illumination, and an orange and white for the dimmer. The Sony harness has neither of these. See how nothing matches up? What can I do here?

      Thanks,
      Toby
