      Removing rear speaker?

      jes wondering if anyone had a how-to on how to remove the rear speakers in an 04 Aveo? or knew where to find the thread?

      it should be pretty straight forward, with a hatchback.
      remove the carpet in the way and undo the bolts.

      check out cardomain.com there is a guy who did it but it doesn't really show how to take them out. Anyway i just went and looked just fold your seat forward on each side one screw toward the front on both sides and you can pull the carpet out of the way but is not necessary just fold it down and take out one screw on each side. be sure to unhook the speaker before starting so you don't forget and rip your wires.

      I had one on the old board, not sure if they transferred it...

      ya i already have new speakers put in they're awesome

      Cool. When I go to replace my old Pioneers with new ones, I will take pics and make a how to.
