      Removing the Automatic shift knob ?

      Hey

      Im trying to remove my automatic shift knob ...however I dont know how to take it off..
      I can unscrew the bottom part but im looking at more plastic I know there is a secret trick to this but I dont know what it is...

      Good luck getting it off. Everywhere I looked everyone made it sound so simple as unscrewing the bottom part. Well...that wasn't the case. You unscrew the bottom piece and let it drop down. Then I used a crew drive to pick at the tiny staple that when around the metal and got that off. Still nothing...so eventually I got so frusterated I just started twisting and yanking on it and it popped right off. I'm not sure if it was the uncrewing, picking, or pulling that did it.

      two screws on the front side take those out and them pop it right off i have a 2007 chevy aveo though

      **** i didnt even realize. jst one of my bored nights and just going thru threads i may know something about or need help on. thats what this websites all about right.....yea im slow....
