yes, i wanted a 10" kicker comp in a kicker slot ported box, but this jl was offered to me for 10$ so i got it, and my box has the exact volume for this sub, all i have to do is change the opening from 12" to 10", will basily add a piece of mdf to the front of the box with a a opening for a 10" sub.

yes it does, so much better then the pyramid, sounds very clear and loud.
in comperison with the 12" mtx thunder 6000, its clearer and as loud, but a bit diffrent, my guess would be caz its a 10".
