Sounds like you need to check your wiring. Your memory wire on your stereo should be hooked up to a 12v constant source. I don't remember what color that is on the Aveo....think it's orange, but I'm sure somebody on here can tell us for sure....Guessing you didn't use a wiring harnes??
“Indecision may or may not be my problem.”
thought red was 12v constant with GMs, orange is acc I think?
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.
well i did use i harness but before i knew about the harness i trioed to heart wire it so maybeyt the orand wir is loose idk

an 05
just throwing this out there, i could be wrong but you might need a part called a GMOS. in GM vehicles 2004 and up mostly the computer runs through the stock radio and the GMOS allows everything function properly with an aftermarket radio. they normally run $100 retail.
thats just the first thing that comes to mind.

I have an 05 and I did (when I had the stock cd/mp3 player in) have the issue you speak of, but my advice is to recheck your wiring....once I put in an after market unit I have not seen the problem again.
