Do u have an automatic? If u have the one with an overdrive button on the front of it pointing north there is two holes. U need a hexagon tool n u have to figure which size but u need that to take out those two screws n just slide it off. If it's a non overdrive u can just twist it off.
its a manual, its just like the auto im assuming, remove any screws, and pull, it takes a lot of force to get it off but it can be done of course
Quit assuming and let someone with a manual answer that one, hunter. :P there is no screws in the manual shift knob. Now a question to to the op, haver you used search button? There are a few topics on the subject already. Here's one of them: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=3798 hope this helps.
i am right technically, hence i said there might be screws, which now i know there are not :P
there is a new shift knob mod thread every week, should be a sticky, but not that thread you linked, so much sarcasm and failure there
remove any screws is not "there might be screws"... :P And the second page of that thread IS talking about a manual shift knob removal... to take off the clip, take the whole lever, and boil it... so no failure on my part, buddy... :DQuote:
