About LinkBacksI bought my used from a dealer, it appeared it also did not have a filter installed. I installed it but I had to bent it a little during the installation otherwise it did not go into the gap.

I too have a 2010 (Aveo5 LT). Comes with AC, but does NOT have a stock cabin air filter. Which of course I only discovered after having already purchased a filter from Amazon. Thank goodness they have easy returns!
After 5 years of owning an Aveo 5 and still many more left, I am finally used to dry leaves blowing through my air vents. LOL!
