Don't forget about cabin air filter!!!

Fixing up my used 2007 Chevy Aveo5, and decided to change the cabin air filter. It looks as if it's never been changed! Name: IMG_20160114_191649.jpg

Here is the new cabin filter on the left and the old cabin filter on the right.

It's super easy to change open glove box depress both sides while pulling down it will release. Then pull off the glovebox. there are 4 Philip head screws to take off. You can see the cabin air filter housing. just pull up and out on the tab...then you can pull out the cabin air filter. watch out cause there are a few wires at the top you must move a little bit. repeat the process in opposite order to put it all back together.

Looks like they drove it through a coal mine every day.

Omfg. And I thought my filter was bad when I replaced it a month or two ago.
