Dark gauge faces.
Has anyone else noticed, in the 1st gen aveos atleast, that the stock gauge faces are sometimes to dark to see? I drive a few country roads, and in atleast one area every time i go through i am unable to see the upper part of my gauges. I wear prescription sunglasses while I drive, but can see just fine in a poorly lit room with them on, so doubt they are part of it.
I am also wondering if anyone who has installed the white gauge faces has noticed a difference in seeing them without the backlight in poor lighting? This will tell me if it is worth changing them. I am quite worried about damaging my gauges and not a fan of removing the needles to install new faces. But if it's a worthwhile benefit, I will take the chance.

you can adjust the dimmer for the light with the little knob on the left side

Im talking about in the daytime when you dont need your headlights.

You mean like the needles and numbers are too dark with the back-lighting off during the day? or a glare on the cluster makes it hard to read?
