changing door locks

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the door locks on the 09 Aveo5?
I've tried to unscrew it but havent tried toooo hard because I didnt want to break it, so does anyone know if it will unscrew so that I can change it out to something a little more "me"?

you need to remove the interior door panel to get to the locks. Since the locks can be manually operated by the knobs too... So it's not a easily done as you might think.

I want the change the "knobs" I guess. The part that sticks up out of the door. Other cars have just required unscrewing and new ones added this way as well. Would I still need to remove the door panel?!
