after market speakers??

hey i want to get some better speakers for me 2010 chevy aveo, because my 2 12'' subs seem to over power my speakers i like it loud but when to loud my speakers screach, and sometimes the bas over powers the speakers,,, would after market speakers work better?, also can i just replace them or i need a second amp ?? thanks , amp is mono 600 rms

also the bass of my subs go up and down?? like a big bass note followed by the same not the second time is lower ?? why is this ?

are you still running the stock deck?

i just replaced my blown 5.25's with alpine 6.5's up front and it helped alot. mind you i have a 600watt amp for the 4 speakers.
as for a second amp, its all personal opinion, decks can only output so much power, an extra 4 channel amp will give you the room to turn it even louder with less distortion

Amp draw from the amplifier. The amplifier is pulling power faster than the alt is producing.

Your front speaker( front stage) will need amplification and better speakers and the doors will need to sound deadened to start to be able to compete (i.e. heard clearly at high volumes) with large subs.

I think you turn the sub too high,or try to turn down the cut off frequancy to the subs ,
And adding amp for front speakers will help,
