08 Aveo speaker equivelent replacement

I bought my aveo 4 years ago and always had a buzzing in the left front speaker on highish volumes so after pissing me off for all these years I decided to do something about it and tore into the door. Much to my surprise there was a hole in the speakers suspension and half of it un-adhered from the frame it needed a complete replacement rather than a ghetto fix which was my original intention.

Now my question is does anyone know a brand & model for perfect drop in replacement for the front speakers with no modifications necessary?

Check out crutchfield. Enter your car's info, and it'll tell you if it fits, or fits with modification. You can always take the model and shop Amazon or ebay after that...

It'll obviously be a 4" speaker there. Plenty of info on this site if you want to go to a bigger speaker.

I'm not exactly looking for bigger or better but rather an equivalent, I would actually replace it with a stock. I don't particularly have much love for the stereo I just wanted to get rid of the buzz otherwise it kinda defeats the point of having a stereo and most of what I saw on crutchfield have tweeters that I dont need, the ones that come stock in the door frame are too high as it is

Im just having hope that someone had a similar experience/situation

Oh, yeah, they're pretty crappy speakers. I'm sure you can pull one out of a wrecker if you don't mind the stock speaker.

It's not that you don't 'need' the tweeter, a 2 way speaker is pretty much the standard. I think you'll find a hard enough time finding a 4" woofer by itself. You won't get much low end quality with a 4".

Welp thanks for your help it was much appreciated but I actually found a cheep ass stock replacement which should make me happy for a few years maybe :P

I dont know what caused the original stock to be so heavily damaged but I guess I'll blame it on cheap/faulty manufacturing or the previous owner playing some really ****ty music
